L@W and LegalSuite announce Joint Venture

L@W and LegalSuite are pleased to announce that they have entered into a joint venture relationship in order to integrate their products and provide a more complete solution to the legal industry.

L@W has traditionally provided data switching services, but in the last 2 years hasdeveloped a range of innovative, web-based products for both conveyancers and the banks.

With a client base of over 6000 desktop users, LegalSuite is one of the main providers of practice management and conveyancing software to legal practitioners.

The purpose of the relationship is to provide conveyancing users with a seamless integration between each firm’s products. LegalSuite users will be able access to L@W’s range of online products from within the LegalSuite program.

“L@W is taking a range of products to the market next year, such as our FICA Solution, L@W Deed (our Deeds Office Tracking solution), our online Rates Clearance Certificates, SearchWorks, Transfer Solution and the Bond Portal. Although our products are independently available, we see full integration with LegalSuite as one of our main channelsto market whilst at the same time adding significant value to LegalSuite, which we feel is already the strongest desktop-based product around”, said Simon Slater, one of L@W’s executive directors.

It not only provides a central point from which to manage the entire registrationprocess, but also saves time by authenticating the user automatically, pre-filling many of the web-based forms (from data that already exists in LegalSuite) and then saving theresults of the enquiry back to the LegalSuite database.
