Introduction:
A creditor remittance is like a statement, showing the balance brought forward from the previous remittance with current transactions as well as payments made to the creditor.
Accessing the Creditors Ledger:

Click on the
creditors icon at the top of LegalSuite ![]()
· The following screen will appear (Fig 1):

How to Create and Print Remittances:
Creating Remittances:

In Figure 1
click on the remittance icon ![]()
· The following screen will appear (Fig 2):

Click on the
creditor remittance
icon.
· The following screen will appear (Fig 3):

The remittance date will pull through the date that you have logged into LegalSuite as.
Under the Filter option you can either create remittances for certain creditors, all creditors or only for creditors belonging to a certain group.
· Click the OK button.
· The following screen will appear showing you how many remittances have been created (Fig 4):

Printing Remittances:

To print remittances
click on the printer icon
.
· The following filter will appear (Fig 6):

You can either print remittances for certain creditors or for creditors belonging to a certain group.
You can print remittances by remittance number or by date that the remittances were created.
You can also just print remittances without statements or remittances and statements.
· Click the OK button
· The remittances will now appear on your screen ready to be printed.
