LegalSuite now integrates with SearchWorks
LegalSuite is proud to announce that after months of development and testing it is now integrated with SearchWorks. A number of our clients have activated this service and they are enjoying the benefits of using SearchWorks from within LegalSuite.
What is
SearchWorks?
SearchWorks
is a web based program provided by L@W which facilitates, amongst other
things, Person and Property Deeds Office Searches, Cipro Searches and Credit
Checking. Some
of these online searches are now accessible from within LegalSuite
Why use SearchWorks from within LegalSuite?
There are numerous benefits from using SearchWorks from within LegalSuite:

Time Saving |
The details of the person or property that you wish to do a search on, is often already captured in your LegalSuite program. This same data is used to pre-populate the SearchWorks program. This ensures that the user does not have to re-enter a lot of the information required to conduct a search. Conducting a Deeds Office search from LegalSuite is much quicker (and a lot more convenient) than having to go to the SearchWorks website, login and enter all the search criteria manually. |

Data Integrity |
The data received from the Deeds Office can automatically update your LegalSuite data! |

The Search Results are saved in the Document Log |
The search results are downloaded in PDF format and saved in the Document Log of the relevant Party or Matter thus making it part of the program and readily available for future reference . |

Prevention of duplicate searches |
The program will alert another user to the fact that a search has already been done on a certain Property or Party and prompt them to look in the Document Log for the search results thus avoiding unnecessary duplication of search fees which are not recoverable from the Client. . |

Automatic Client Billing |
Users are prompted to automatically charge the client once the search is complete, thus ensuring 100% disbursement recovery. |
