Introduction:

LegalSuite has recently added the “Deeds Office Document Request” to our SearchWorks application. This application is designed

for you to request and download any document stored at the DeedsOffice.

Please Note:

The Deeds Office Document Request is available on version(s) 4.2270 (2038) and higher. To run this application you will need to have Microsoft .NET frameworks installed.

How to perform the Deeds Office Document Request / Search

Complete any of the available DeedsOffice Searches and you will notice that the end result will look similar to this;

NOTE: These icons (  ) have been added to all available Deeds Office Document Requests.

Once you have clicked on “Request Deeds Office Document” you should see the following;

Confirm that everything is correct, then click on “Submit”.

Click “OK”

Your request was successful, you will be informed (VIA EMAIL) when the document is available

How to view your requested documents

Open your LegalSuite program, click on “Browse” then “Deeds Office Documents”

This screen will display “All” your Deeds Office Documents including ones that are “Pending”.

Once you have received the email from SearchWorks (informing you that your “requested” document is available to download)

click on the “Check Available” button, this should display the “Document Requests” screen.

To view an available document, choose it, then click on “Select”
The selected document will open up in a .PDF format – i.e.

Conclusion

The “Deeds Office Request / Search” will allow you to obtain any Deeds Office Documents that are available to the public as well as

store them away for you in a safe and secure place for future use.

This feature will improve your overall LegalSuite experience and ensure that you are always kept up-to-date of the latest technologies.
